As someone who navigates the everyday world, I designed these cards with everyday people in mind. My journey in self-affirming language started during graduate school when I was struggling with imposter syndrome and exhaustion. I was already incorporating affirmations into my classes and I realized, with some help, that incorporating them into my daily life would be helpful also. This deck is a cultivated collection of affirmations from dear friends, community members, and students,  who answered my question when I asked "What is something you need to hear?" We won't always have someone with us to remind us of our value, but through these cards and consistent focus on self-affirmations, we can learn to remind ourselves.
